A company, formed to pivot a $15mm-ten patent-military technology portfolio to private sector, is raising $500k seed round. The technology is in essence about a ceramic material that can be reformed into solid, slurry and back; making hundreds of copying cycles possible. The seed funds will be used to repackage the product and do beta installs in three segments: Prototyping: this segment has already been destabilized by 3D printers. Our 3D Copiers will be used as an add-on to the printers for making multiple copies of the printed parts at order-of-magnitude reduction in cost, capex and turn-around. Industrial Design Studios: copies for demo and development in multiple what-if versions. Repair/Restoration: in remote operations with difficult access to spare parts. Our company is led by a CEO with track record of a billion dollar plus exit, along with core technology inventors, tooling and extensive user feedback from the likes of Adidas, Boeing and General Electric.
