Crowdmull is a private mobile chat/IM (a la WhatsApp) designed to help those considering an important purchase connect, discuss and get personalized recommendations from their trusted personal contacts. Crowdmull is not yet another social network. It simply allows users to connect casually using familiar IM/chat interactions with contacts already in their phone book who might be able to help them directly or direct them to others in their extended networks who might be able to help. In addition to facilitating private discussions with friends, Crowdmull indexes product information and catalogs to enable users to discover, get information, reviews get offers on shortlisted items and buy from their favorite retailer - all from the convenience of their phone in the context of their chat/IM interactions.
